Roger's 1916 APBA Replay

St. Louis (NL) Manager Miller Huggins Week Fifteen of the 1916 BBW Replay is in the books, and it was another exciting 1916 week. Plenty of pitching, shutouts, and extra-inning games, with a sixteen-inning game and a twenty-two-inning game where Washington finally defeated Chicago in the second game of a doubleheader. Walter Johnson threw nineteen innings in this one and came away with no decision for all his effort. Imagine the end of the day, the sun quickly setting, the umpires hurrying the players on and off the field, and then finally, a victory for the home team. Twenty-two innings is still a lot of zeroes, though.   In the AL, Boston won four of five games at home versus second-place Detroit, setting back the Tigers, but they were able to extend their own lead to nine full games.
